Okay, let me guess. You are here refreshing every GTA account you follow, praying today is the day Trailer 3 finally drops. I do the exact same thing every morning, so let me save you the trouble.

One quick note on how I run this page before we start. I am not a leaker and I have no inside line at Rockstar. What I do have is a habit of tracking Rockstar’s official channels every single day, watching every drop as it happens, and calling confirmed facts and rumors exactly what they are. I last went through this whole page on July 23, 2026.

As of that date, GTA 6 Trailer 3 is not out. Rockstar has not given a date for it either. And here is the kicker, every “release date” you keep seeing with a fancy countdown slapped on it? Somebody made that up. All of it is fans guessing. The moment something real happens, you will see this page change first.

Want to see what Rockstar has already shown us so far? I broke it all down, frame by frame, in the Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 analysis. This page is about one thing only. Did Trailer 3 drop, or not.

Has Rockstar confirmed a Trailer 3 date?

No. And I mean a clean no. No date, no teaser, not even one of those “coming soon” posts on any of Rockstar’s official accounts.

I am telling you this straight, because a lot of gaming pages love to blur the line between “rumored” and “confirmed” just to get your click. Do not fall for it. There is nothing confirmed here.

Now let me show you the pattern, because I have watched it play out twice already. Trailer 1 came out in December 2023, and funny thing, it leaked a day early, so Rockstar rushed the official version out ahead of schedule. Trailer 2 took its sweet time after that. So what does that tell you? Rockstar drops trailers on its own clock, straight to its own channels, and it barely gives you any warning. When Trailer 3 finally hits, my bet is you catch it first on Rockstar’s Instagram and X, with a countdown measured in hours, not weeks.

The rumored window: late July to mid-August

Here is what fans keep betting on. Not an exact day, but a window. Late July to mid-August 2026.

Why that window? Two reasons, and honestly both are pretty smart. The first one is simple. The calendar cleared up. The World Cup final wrapped on July 19 and took half the internet’s attention with it. You do not drop the biggest trailer of the year while everybody is glued to a final. You wait for the room to empty out.

The second reason is money, and this is where it pays to know how Take-Two operates. Take-Two, the company that owns Rockstar, holds a public earnings call every quarter, and the next one is confirmed for Friday, August 7 at 8:00 a.m. ET, announced in Take-Two’s own investor relations release on July 9. Take-Two has already pointed to its launch window for GTA 6 in past investor guidance, which is exactly why fans watch these calls so closely. Rockstar likes timing big reveals near these dates, because a fresh trailer hands the investors and the press something loud to cheer about. So that is the logic behind the window. But the call being real does not make a trailer real. The date is confirmed, the trailer is not, and logic is not a leak. Do not treat a guess like a promise.

Update, July 31: Take-Two has since confirmed that call for August 7 at 8:00 a.m. ET, and Rockstar’s own site quietly changed three times on July 29, both of which I go through in what the July 29 site changes actually mean.

Why people are so sure it is coming soon

A lone figure looking out over a neon city skyline at night Illustrative art, not GTA 6 footage.

Even without a date, “soon” actually makes a lot of sense. Just look at everything Rockstar has officially put out this summer. These are confirmed, straight from Rockstar, not leaks:

  • Pre-orders opened June 25, 2026 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores, with two editions at $79.99 and $99.99.
  • Official cover art and the final logo are out.
  • Around 60 new screenshots have dropped.

That is a LOT of buildup. Think about it for a second. No company finalizes cover art, opens pre-orders, and drops 60 screenshots just to go quiet until launch. A trailer is the obvious next move here, and it would be the perfect last push before the November 19 launch week. So yeah, expecting it soon is totally fair. But locking in an exact day? That is where people keep fooling themselves.

Want the full list of what is actually confirmed versus what is still just rumor? I keep all of it sourced and updated in our everything we know hub.

What will actually be in Trailer 3?

Honestly? Nobody outside Rockstar knows, so anything I say here is a guess, and I will be upfront with you about that. But I have sat through the first two trailers enough times to read the marketing cycle, and I would expect a trailer that leans heavier on actual gameplay this time, more of Jason and Lucia together, and a proper look at Leonida beyond just Vice City. That is usually how a third trailer plays out this close to launch. Call it an educated guess, nothing more.

When we will know for real

Real talk, you will not need this page to find out. The second Rockstar posts Trailer 3, it is going to be all over your feed within minutes. Trust me on that one.

But I still check Rockstar’s official channels every single day. So the moment a real teaser or the trailer itself shows up, this post gets the confirmed date and a full breakdown, and I will note exactly when and where it dropped.

So, is GTA 6 Trailer 3 out yet? Not today. The strongest rumor points to that late-July to mid-August window, backed by the World Cup wrap-up and the confirmed August 7 Take-Two earnings call. But Rockstar has confirmed none of it. So here is what you do. Bookmark this page. Go check the release date guide while you wait. And just so you have it locked in, Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. That date is official, straight from Rockstar, not a rumor.

Here is my promise on this page. I update it the moment anything changes. Confirmed news gets marked confirmed. Rumors stay labeled as rumors. That is the whole deal.

Quick answers

Is GTA 6 Trailer 3 out yet? Nope. As of July 23, 2026, it is not out, and Rockstar has not announced a date.

When is GTA 6 Trailer 3 coming out? No confirmed date yet. The popular rumor is a late-July to mid-August 2026 window, but that is just fans guessing, not an official word from Rockstar.

Has Rockstar confirmed Trailer 3? No. Rockstar has said nothing about a third trailer on any official channel. Every date you have seen is a guess.

Why do fans expect it in early August? Because the World Cup final ended July 19 and Take-Two’s earnings call is confirmed for August 7. Rockstar loves timing big reveals around moments like these. It is a fair guess, not a confirmation.

Where will Trailer 3 be released? Most likely Rockstar’s official Instagram, X, and YouTube, the same channels that carried the first two trailers.
